Role Overview As a BMS Service Engineer, your primary focus will be to oversee the daily functioning and maintenance of BMS systems for a diverse range of clients. Your mission will be to facilitate seamless BMS integrations, impart technical knowledge, and deliver unparalleled customer service.
Key Responsibilities Perform regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on BMS systems Conduct system performance assessments and optimise for efficiency Provide quick and efficient response to emergency calls, offering technical support both remotely and on-site Assist with BMS system upgrade projects Ensure strict compliance with health and safety regulations and company protocols Generate detailed service reports and recommendations for clients Liaise with project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to guarantee smooth service delivery Stay updated on industry advancements and BMS technology trends
The Ideal Candidate Has a proven track record in servicing and maintaining BMS systems, with specialist knowledge in Trend, Tridium, or Distech Holds suitable qualifications in electrical or mechanical engineering (HNC, HND, or equivalent is preferable) Possesses deep understanding of HVAC systems and their integration with BMS Has excellent fault diagnosis and problem-solving abilities Can interpret and clearly explain technical drawings and control schematics Thrives on building and maintaining strong client relationships
