VIGO is currently recruiting on behalf of a recognised name in the Smart Buildings sector who is actively seeking an Energy Optimisation Consultant. If you have a deep understanding of energy management or energy engineering and a flair for using data to inform strategic decisions, this role offers a fantastic opportunity to make a difference to customers’ energy efficiency.

Role Overview

As an Energy Optimisation Consultant, you will harness your specialist knowledge, leveraging data insights to inform strategic decisions that will drive forward energy reduction for customers. By developing and implementing energy management strategies for clients, your work will have a significant impact on reducing carbon footprint and driving sustainable business operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse energy usage data, identifying trends and areas for improvement
• Develop comprehensive energy management strategies for client portfolios
• Conduct energy audits and implement efficiency improvement initiatives
• Present data insights to stakeholders and make recommendations based on findings
• Train and support clients in using BMS interfaces and data analysis tools
• Monitor and report on the success of implemented strategies

The Ideal Candidate

• Holds a degree or equivalent qualification in Energy Engineering, Sustainable Energy, or a related field
• Has experience in energy management or energy engineering in a facility or building environment
• Demonstrates excellent analytical skills, with the ability to process and interpret complex data
• Possesses outstanding communication skills and can articulate complex concepts in simple terms
• Is passionate about sustainability and has a drive to make a difference
