VIGO is recruiting on behalf of one of the largest Building Management System (BMS) Controls Systems houses in North West England. This business is a market leader in providing world-class engineered solutions for the control of services within any building environment throughout the UK, and prides itself on its strong partnerships with technology frontrunners like Trend, Honeywell, and Siemens. They are currently scaling up their operations and seeking a new BMS Service Sales Account Manager to focus on building their Maintenance & Bureau client base in the Northwest region.
Role Overview
In this full-time position, you will join an experienced sales team with the critical responsibility of expanding the company's maintenance book. Based at head office in Manchester, you will often travel to customer sites, working normal office hours with early finishes on Fridays. Your key focus will be to source and secure new BMS maintenance and Bureau contracts by targeting end-users and facility management companies, managing contract renewals, and integrating new projects into Planned Preventive Maintenance contracts in the Northwest.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain relationships with both new and existing customers
Identify and pursue sales opportunities with both new and existing customers
Manage contract renewals
Convert new projects into Planned Preventive Maintenance contracts
Self-generate leads and follow up on leads provided by the business
The Ideal Candidate
Experience in a target-driven role within the BMS or a related sector, such as HVAC, Air-Con, Fire Alarm
Minimum of 3-5 years in a sales role with proven successes
Commercially astute and results-focused
Ability to work under pressure and meet sales budgets
Positive demeanour
Full clean driving licence
