VIGO is working with a client, a leader in the Smart Buildings and Energy Optimisation sector. They are on the hunt for a Lead Controls Engineer, and we are recruiting on their behalf for this full-time role, based in the central belt of Scotland.
Role Overview
The selected candidate will join their highly experienced team, working on the frontline of building energy optimisation. They will have the chance not only to invigorate their career but also to participate in some of the most exciting, cutting-edge projects in the sector.
Key Responsibilities
Leading the technical development and installation of building controls projects
Providing technical support and consultancy to the commercial and project teams
Ensuring on-time delivery of all BMS/BEMS projects according to client requirements
Developing and maintaining controls strategies and software for complex building systems
Planning resource allocation for multiple, simultaneous projects
The Ideal Candidate
Minimum of five years' experience in the BMS/BEMS sector
In-depth knowledge of and proficiency with BMS controls systems
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to provide innovative solutions
Demonstrable leadership experience with hands-on skills in project management
A full UK driving license
What’s on Offer
