VIGO is recruiting on behalf of a leading organisation in the smart buildings and energy optimisation sector, searching for a Mobile BMS Service Engineer to join their growing team. This role offers the opportunity to deliver critical Building Management System (BMS) infrastructure upgrades across a range of sectors, including commercial, retail, healthcare, education, and government estates.
Role Overview
The successful candidate will be involved in installing, configuring, and managing BMS components and equipment across customer sites. This role will help enable sites to become ‘Smart Enabled’, introducing additional value through IoT solutions and supporting improvements in operational efficiency, sustainability, and building performance.
Key Responsibilities
Installing and configuring BMS equipment
Performing maintenance checks on Trend, Tridium, and Distech BMS systems
Taking part in a reactive call-out rota (additional financial benefit included for being on call and attending)
Identifying opportunities for improvement and remedial works
Preparing proposals and quoting work requirements where necessary
The Ideal Candidate
Has extensive knowledge & experience of BMS / HVAC
Familiar with Trend, Tridium Controls/Niagara/Distech/Siemens
Excellent understanding of the electrical industry
Has an understanding of IT networks
Valid UK driving license
Excellent written and communication skills
