VIGO is recruiting for a Pre-Commissioning Engineer on behalf of our client, delivering key projects in the Building Management Systems sector. This exciting role presents a great opportunity for an experienced engineer to showcase their expertise in a dynamic and evolving environment.
Role Overview
The Pre-Commissioning Engineer role involves various tasks such as planning and executing daily activities in accordance with the client's program and request, working both independently and under the supervision of senior engineers. The role also involves carrying out control panel works, applying power to the control panel safely, and pre-commissioning activities.
Key Responsibilities
Attend site for Health and Safety purposes including client introduction, understanding RAMS and carrying out client inductions
Perform control panel modifications, door modifications, and main power circuit modifications
Organise and maintain paperwork, including MPF commissioning documents
Perform pre-commissioning activities, such as testing of circuits, spinning pumps and fans, and loading software
Test digital and analogue inputs and outputs on controllers
The Ideal Candidate
An experienced engineer with a solid understanding of Health and Safety regulations
Possesses the ability to work independently and under supervision
Is comfortable with a variety of tasks including control panel works and pre-commissioning activities
Can handle paperwork efficiently and has excellent problem-solving skills
