Role Overview
In this pivotal role, you'll execute a suite of responsibilities spanning design document production, project management, on-site coordination, commissioning, and project handover. A collaborative spirit is key, as you'll provide technical support and knowledge sharing to a dedicated team of fellow engineers. Moreover, you'll potentially supervise junior engineers, cultivating an atmosphere of knowledge exchange and collective growth.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and deliver smaller-scale projects in line with work programme and design
Create and maintain backups of software and strategy files
Ensure adherence to company H&S and CDM requirements
Collaborate with sub-contract engineers and clients
Maintain strong client relations
Attend site-based commissioning/progress meetings
Carry out field point to point checks, terminations, panel and wiring mods
Create & manage a project programme of work
Commission various DDC control systems
Procure control items accurately, and size control valves
Collate and update 'AS COMMISSIONED' data on the server
Ensure witnessing packs are appropriately signed off
Carry out site surveys and produce detailed reports
Enforce H&S interests of all employees and sub-contractors
Adhere to all client and company ISO, H&S procedures, and policies
Provide technical support to team members
The Ideal Candidate
Capable of working well within a team and independently
Possess excellent attention-to-detail, time management and organisational skills
Self-motivated, responsible and accountable
Possesses exemplary customer relations
Commercial awareness (training provided as required)
Good understanding of Safe Systems of Work and H&S in the workplace
Technical expertise in one of the following systems: Trend, Tridium, Schneider, Siemens, ALC
Ability to interpret and alter existing control strategy in BMS systems
Familiar with HVAC systems
Electrically Competent and Strong PC skills (Word and Excel)
